The New Spring and Summer Colors 2011

Flirtatious Honeysuckle is a feel-good hue that brings a festive sense of playfulness to this season's palette. This vibrant pinkish-red for both apparel and cosmetics makes consumers feel alive, and is a perfect post-winter pick-me-up. Color Connection has created intensifiers for each fashion color.

Spicy, gregarious and persuasive describe Coral Rose, a sophisticated orange that, much like Beeswax, warm, honeyed yellow, conjures up feelings of faraway lands and locales. Pair either of these piquant hues with a cool, refreshing color-wheel opposite like Regatta or a vibrant color combination that will add zest to any wardrobe. Romantic, fanciful Lavender implies sensuality with its subtle hint of red undertone. Combine it with Beeswax or Coral Rose for a unique counterpoint.

Alluring Blue Curacao evokes thoughts of tropical destinations and pays homage to the 2010 Color of the Year, Turquoise. Practical consumers can continue to incorporate enticing Caribbean blues into spring by pairing Blue Curacao with warm, complementary colors like Honeysuckle or Coral Rose. We suggest you create some flair by mixing our Mineral Powder Eyeshadows and Blush shades, wearing them wet or dry. Creating an opaque look is easy. Simply mix a very small amount of water or Lavender Toner* to create an opaque look.

*We recommend that you do not mix the water and mineral powder products in your lid, your regular mixing palette as it may get into the container with your mineral powder products. Use the palm of your hand or another surface to mix the products with water or Lavender Toner.

 

THIS SPRING WE SUGGEST CREATING NEW COLORS BY:

Mix Berry Goddess Mineral Powder Eyeshadow with equal parts of Sassy Sable Mineral Powder Eyeshadow. This great color will be complimentary to many eye colors.

It's all about pink. Honeysuckle Pink and Silver Peony fashion colors are standouts this season. Angel Pink Mineral Powder Eyeshadow and Celestial Pink Mineral Powder Blush can be worn on eyes or cheeks. Wet them and apply multiple layers to get the desired effect. Use them for a base eyeshadow color on the lid or as a highlight-or both!

Sweet Sienna Mineral Powder Blush can be used as an eyeshadow as well as a blush to showcase the eyes and cheeks. Wet or dry it is a great color for spring.

Mosaic Kiss Mineral Powder Eyeshadow mixed with a small amount of water will create a new opaque look.

Create interest with the fashion color Peapod by mixing Joyful Jade and Sheer Sun Mineral Powder Eyeshadows. This combination matches the trendy Peapod color perfectly.

Magnificent Mocha and Sassy Sable will create a great Russet Brown.

Plush Plum Mineral Powder Eyeshadow is a perfect compliment to brown, blue, purple blue and green eyes.
